Welcome to the CNA Cohort! As the CNA ESOL teacher, it is my job to help you learn to use healthcare-related language which will enable you to successfully complete the clinical portion of the program. I look forward to working together as we learn the language of healthcare.

Course Rubric:
Formative assessment: monitoring student progress and providing ongoing feedback throughout a lesson or unit (e.g., exit tickets at the end of class, checking for understanding during class, and quizzes) with the intent to improve instruction and learning outcomes
Summative assessment: cumulative assessment at the end of a unit that determines what a student has learned throughout the unit or throughout a coherently grouped set of lessons (e.g., unit test)
